Local Crime Update - Burglary Series - Branksome

Dear Residents, 

A man has been charged in connection with a reported burglary series in the Branksome area.

At around 2pm on Friday 30 January 2026 a burglary was reported to have occurred at a residential address in James Road.

Then, between 6pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday 3 March, a burglary was reported to have taken place at a residential address in Wroxham Road.

A further burglary was reported to have occurred in Wroxham Road between 6pm and 9pm on Monday 6 April 2026.

An investigation was launched and on Thursday 16 April 2026, officers arrested a 45-year-old man from Bournemouth in connection with all three incidents.

He was subsequently charged with three counts of dwelling burglary and is next due to appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday 4 June 2026.

We acknowledge the impact burglaries have on victims and it remains a priority for us to tackle these offences.
